Coronation bank holiday results

Peter Bennet (pictured a couple of weeks ago at the Twickenham head to head) carried off the crown in the knockout this week. His performance was more Houdini-like than regal, but it's put him up to second in the ladder, behind Gavin Anderson.

Which brings us to the Swiss results - and Gavin did duly win all 4 of his matches and the tournament to extend his lead at the top of the table. Pretenders to the throne were left in no doubt there is a lot of work to do to unseat him.

And so ended our evening of play - thanks to all 16 of you that added to the pageantry.
